We'd like to start by saying a special well done to our Personal Trainer, Kristine, for taking part in Tough Mudder on Sunday 24th September. After completing the 10k course with 23 obstacles in 3 hours, we are all very proud and enjoying the muddy photos a bit too much! In light of Kristine taking on Tough Mudder, it's safe to say she has caught the bug and is already planning her 2024 course and wants your involvement with her this time, so let's plan a Sandown Sports 2024 Tough Mudder!
Are you up to push your limits, conquer your fears, and bond with a group of like-minded individuals? Tough Mudder, the renowned obstacle course that is designed to test your strength, endurance, and mental fortitude, offers a unique opportunity to do just that. Once the decision to tackle Tough Mudder is made, the next step is to let Kristine know you want to be part of the dream team. To do so please email Kristine@sandownsports.co.uk.
Preparing for Tough Mudder is not just about physical training; it's also about mental preparation. If you have ever considered doing Tough Mudder but not felt fit enough to do so, then this is perfect for you! Kristine will provide a training programme for all participants, as well as, in the new year there will be weekly training sessions. Leading up to the event an 8-week countdown training programme will be created so you can feel prepared.
Before the big day arrives, it's essential to set clear goals and expectations. Each team member should know their role and understand the importance of teamwork. Tough Mudder is not a race for individual glory; it's about overcoming obstacles as a team and helping each other to reach the finish line. Setting achievable goals, whether it's completing ever obstacle or simply finishing the race, creates a sense of purpose and motivation.
