Do I need to book or can I just turn up?

When are you open?
We are open different hours depending on the season so best to give us a call. When online booking launches you’ll see the days and times we are open when you’re selecting the desired day. Due to the location, we will be closed for big race days at Sandown Racecourse including April 29th and the July 8th.
Do you offer group discounts?
We offer various group packages and all can be found under groups on the main menu or by clicking here
How old do you need to be?
A minimum age limit applies of 8 years as well as a height limit of 1.3 metres
Do you have to be a minimum height?
You must be a minimum height of 1.3m as well as 8 years or over.
Is there a maximum weight limit?
A maximum weight limit of 120kg applies, which is just under 19 stone.
Do children need to be accompanied by an adult?

What should I wear?
Dress for the weather in something you don’t mind possibly getting dirty, keep in mind that you will be active. No sandals or slip on shoes will be permitted so ensure you’re in appropriate footwear such as trainers. Please note: we may also ask customers to remove disproportionately large jackets. If it is cold and/or wet, please wear closer fitting, warm clothes.
Are there food and drink facilities?
Yes! With lots of variety too! Hot food, sandwiches, snacks, fruit and ice creams are available. We also have a fully stocked bar on site with barista style coffees, slush puppies or even protein shakes available. More information can be found here.
When do I need to arrive?
We recommend arriving 30 mins prior to your booking time.
Where can I leave my belongings?
There are limited personal belongings lockers within the welcome hut so we recommend bringing as little as possible.
Are there toilets?
Yes, they are located within the main sports club.
Can I bring and use a camera?
We do not allow cameras on Skywalk, however if you are spectating there are various viewing areas to take photos from.
Can spectators watch?
Spectators will be able to watch from either the clubs viewing terrace or from the various walkway stop points underneath the course
Can I smoke?
As we are in an area of outstanding natural beauty, surrounded by trees and fauna. Notwithstanding the risk of fire, we maintain a no smoking policy throughout our premises.
Do the courses have a time limit?
There is no time limit that you have to complete the course in, but we advise on average it would take 45-90 mins per course depending on how busy the session is.
Is there an instructor with you?
An instructor will administer a full safety briefing and also ensure you’re completely attached to the course before you set off. Instructors are then positioned around the course from the ground.
What is the safety system?
We use a safe roller system (Rope Roller). Our instructors help you into a full body harness and provide you with a safe roller system that attaches you and your harness to the safety wire. This cannot be detached until the end of the course. There is no need to clip in or out, the roller simple follows you on the wire around the course.
Can I amend my booking?
If making any amendments over 7 days prior to your booking, no charges will be applied. If making amendments to your booking within 7 days then a £10 fee may be applicable.
Whats the cancellation policy?
If your cancellation request id received more than 7 days prior to your booking then a full refund will be awarded. Cancellation requests received within 7 days of the booking may be liable to pay a £10 fee from the refund.
Is there parking onsite available?
Ample parking is available and more information on this and travelling to us can be found here.
I have a physical, sensory, or mental impairment. Can I Skywalk?
We try our very best to accommodate all our guests. There are of course some minimum requirements that an activity like Skywalk entails. The best thing to do is to speak to us before your visit, so that we can plan and prepare accordingly. Please see our accessibility page for more details.
Are you wheelchair accessible?
This is something we are currently working on to improve. We have spaces reserved for disabled parking; simply let a staff member know so that they can open the barrier for you. Some parts of our site are wheelchair friendly- you are able to access the compound, viewing areas, and club house. Sandown Sports (with whom we share facilities) has a refurb planned for summer 2018 that will see the installation of a disabled toilet. We are working on improving the non-accessible areas of our site. Does my Annual Pass cover special events?
Unfortunately, the annual pass only covers normal opening hours and does not permit the holder access to special events, such as Scary Skywalk or Santa Skywalk.
