Cancellation Policy

At Sandown Sports Club, we understand that plans can change, and sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule your reservation. We strive to provide a fair and transparent cancellation policy to accommodate your needs while also ensuring the smooth operation of our business. Please read our cancellation policy carefully before making a reservation:

Cancellation Timeframe:

For ski lessons and courses, we require a minimum of 2 weeks' notice for cancellations. For Junior Ski Club and Rise & Glide we require 48 hours notice. After this payment will only be refunded or transferred once your original booking has been re-sold. For Skywalk cancellations and amendments made over 7 days prior to your booking, no charges will be applied. If making amendments to your Skywalk booking within 7 days then a £10 fee may be applicable and no refunds will be given. For parties, we require 30 days' notice for of cancellation for a full refund. The specific notice period may vary depending on the type of service and the circumstances. 

Cancellation Fee:

Cancellations made within the specified cancellation timeframe will not incur any charges. Cancellations made outside the specified cancellation timeframe may be subject to a cancellation fee, which will be deducted from the total amount paid or billed at the time of booking. The amount of the fee will depend on the service and the timing of the cancellation.

Refunds:

Refunds for cancellations will be issued within 14 business days of receiving the cancellation request, using the same method of payment used for the reservation. Please note that some services may have non-refundable deposits or fees, and these will not be refunded in the event of a cancellation.

Rescheduling:

If you need to reschedule your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, depending on availability and the specific circumstances.

 No-Show Policy:

If you do not arrive for your reservation and do not provide prior notice of cancellation, you may be considered a no-show. No-shows may be subject to the full cost of the reservation and may forfeit any deposits or payments made.

Special Event or Group Reservations:

Special cancellation policies may apply to events, group reservations, or peak seasons. Please refer to the specific terms and conditions provided at the time of booking.

Force Majeure:

In the event of circumstances beyond your control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions) that prevent you from honouring your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss possible alternatives or refunds.
